Ancient Athens Tour: Acropolis & Acropolis Museum

You will meet your guide inside our tour offices at Athanasiou Diakou 16 street where you can also purchase your admission tickets for the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum on the spot. The Acropolis entrance is a very short distance, and this is where your journey will start. You will walk your way uphill listening to your experienced archaeologist guide’s stories about the golden era of the city.

You will have the chance to admire the magnificent ruins, the Theater of Dionysus to the Healing Temple of Asclepius and the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, as well as the Temple of Athena Nike (Temple of Wingless Victory), the gateway of the Propylaea, the Porch of the Caryatids at the Erechtheion, and of course the glorious Parthenon, a temple dedicated to the goddess Athena. After this 2 hour walk between all these monumental sites, you will continue in the new state-of-the-art Acropolis Museum where you will explore further the Greek heritage.
