1. Pricing

Our policy assures you of an economic pricing, along with the convenience of making reservations online. Unless otherwise mentioned, prices quoted on our website are charged on a per person basis and do not include tips given to tour guides or drivers, drinks, food, or anything not specified as included in the product. The published rates may change without prior notice, particularly in case of any unforeseen circumstance.

2. Methods of Payment

We accept almost all major credit cards, such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and Diners. Full payment must be done by credit card, and guests are entailed to provide their credit card number to complete the transaction. This, in turn, will be shown as a charge on your statement.

3. Confirmation of Payment

Once the payment is done, our team will send you a confirmation slip by email. Its print can be produced as an evidence of payment to the service provider to redeem your tour package. But make sure that you´ve provided correct information pertaining to your travel requirements at the time of booking.

4. Non Show

If you fail to turn up for the tour, no refunds in part or full can be provided. The same condition applies in the case of unused entrance tickets. Likewise, rescheduling cannot be allowed for confirmed tours, walking tours, bike tours and other travel related services.

5. Cancellation Procedures

Prior to making cancellation , we recommend you carefully read the cancellation rules that apply to your tour package. For cancellation of all or any part of your reservation, make sure that you make notification of cancellation to info@tagathens.com. Upon receiving your cancellation request, we’ll let you know through email or telephone regarding the confirmation of booking cancellation as well as the fee that should be paid. #tag ATHENS cannot be held responsible for any cancellation that has not been received from you or not confirmed by us.

6. Itinerary Amendments

Routings and services covered in your package are subject to change based on local / weather conditions, airway schedules and such other several aspects. Should this transpire, we can provide suitable options of similar value, however depending on its availability. At most, we announce changes in itinerary, if any, before departure. Please note that #tag ATHENS reserves complete right to implement minor amendments in itinerary at any time without reimbursement. Further, no reimbursement can be done in the event of a major disaster, such as flood and earthquake.

9. Travel Documents

It is the responsibility of every guest to ensure that he or she carries documents relevant for a particular tour, including passport or a valid ID card. This is especially important for example for the entrance tickets in the archaeological sites. No refund can be done in the event of loss or lack of these relevant documents.

10. Website Usage Restrictions

All content in this website, including logo, images, information on tour package, pricing details, and other relevant details, are proprietary to #tag ATHENS. Accordingly, as a condition of this website´s usage, you agree not to exploit this website or its content for any non-personal, commercial, or illegitimate purposes.

DAY TRIPS

• Confirmation will be received at time of booking
• Entrance fees payable by cash directly to the tour guide on the day of the tour.
• Please wear comfortable shoes, hats and sun cream
• You can present either a paper or an electronic voucher for this activity.
• Not wheelchair accessible
• Near public transportation
• Infants must sit on laps
• Adult pricing applies to all travelers
• A minimum number of 4 travellers applies on each departure. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund.

Availability & Payments:

• Booking for the scheduled tours is always subject to availability.
• Payment to us is due upon the receipt of the relevant invoice.

Rescheduling policy:

• Reschedule is subject to availability of our guides and tour leaders.
• You can reschedule your tour up to 24 hours before the scheduled departure free of charge.
• If you reschedule your tour within 24 hours before the scheduled tour departure time, we will charge extra 50% on the total price

We would like to send you information about our services which may be of interest to you.  If you have consented to receive marketing, you may opt out at any point as set out below.

“#tag ATHENS” also reserves the right to use any photograph/video taken during the tours. By participating the participant grants Athens by bike permission to use his/her likeness in a photograph or video, in any and all of its publications, including web-based publications, without payment or other consideration. All photos will become the property of #tag ATHENS and the participant waives any right to inspect or approve the finished product wherein his/her likeness appears.

To ensure the privacy of individuals and children, images will not be identified using full names or personal identifying information without written approval from the photographed subject, parent or legal guardian.

A person attending an #tag ATHENS tour who does not wish to have their image recorded for distribution should make their wishes known to the tour leader, and/or the tour organizers, and/or contact info@tagathens.com, in writing of his/her intentions.

WALKING TOURS

• Confirmation will be received at time of booking
• Entrance fees payable by cash directly to the tour guide on the day of the tour.
• Please wear comfortable shoes, hats and sun cream
• You can present either a paper or an electronic voucher for this activity.
• Not wheelchair accessible
• Near public transportation
• Infants must sit on laps
• Adult pricing applies to all travelers
• Minimum numbers apply. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund
• Walking Tours start at the scheduled time with all the participants who are present on time.
• In case of extreme weather conditions, the tour may be cancelled for safety reasons. If there is no alternative date available from the customer’s side, the tour will be refunded 100%.
• The tour will be refunded 100% in case of force majeure.

BIKE TOURS

• The tour leader(s) will accompany the participants and supervise the itinerary, ensuring the programme is carried out as described on our website and/or agreed in our specific offer. The tour leaders are NOT licensed tour guides explaining the meaning, destination and history of ancient and modern Greece.
• All participants should arrive at the designated starting point at least fifteen (15) minutes before the scheduled starting time for the “check in” procedure. The tours will start at the scheduled time with the participants who are present at the scheduled time.
• All participants should sign a waiver/disclaimer before the tour starts and verify that they are in sound medical condition, able to cycle.
• During the tour we will not enter any archaeological sites, unless otherwise specified in special private tours.
• Participants should know how to ride a bike on a public street in order to join our tours. We reserve the right to refuse participation to clients we believe are not capable of joining the group for safety reasons.
• Our fleet consists of bikes, suitable for participants over 160 cm in height. Smaller bikes can be provided ONLY upon request.
• “Athens by bike” reserves the right to make reasonable changes in the itinerary,  where deemed necessary.
• Booking for all tours is always subject to availability.
• Any changes to the itinerary, date, destination or the number of participants may incur an extra fee.
• No amendments will be made on confirmed bookings.
• Tours run in all weather conditions, rain or shine.
• For all participants who do not want to join the tour because of the rain, we offer a 50% refund or the option to join another tour according to our availability.
• We reserve the right to postpone the starting time of a tour for up to 60 minutes.
